   I spent a while trying to weed out the different survey sites and the different sites that pay you to try things without trying to scam you.
   I put together a blog for my friends (I figure I’d share it since I wish someone had put this together for me) and I listed the sites that didn’t require me to go through pages of ads and that actually pay out cash and not points or entries into a sweepstakes.
   I’d say that realistically if you spend about 2-3 hours a day and complete the surveys and offers for about 10 sites or even just to refer your friends that are tight on money now and then, you can average about $150- $250 a week.    There are quite a few ways teens can earn some extra cash online. You can take surveys, clicking on ads, doing free offers and surfing the web (some companies are 18+ but not all are and none require credit cards).

   I use both these sites and I make close to $40/month from each. Inboxdollars is very easy, you get a $5 bonus fee, and you get paid anywhere from 1-5 cents for reading emails and $1 for every completed survey. As for Treasuretrooper, there is a bit of spam involved unlike inbox dollars but you can get up to 50 cents just for typing in your zip code. Although it’s not much money, I can pay for my gas with it for the month and I have also been able to put $15-20 away into my ING account the last few months where it grows even more. You really can’t go wrong with these.

    I’m skeptical when it comes to paid surveys and ‘get paid to complete offer’ sites, but honestly many of them are legit and have enabled me to generate a great amount of extra money. On one site, you can find actual photos of checks people have gotten from the site. On my favorite site that I use, the total payment cashout reached six figures ($100,000) for the month of May!! The most important thing is to never get discouraged if you start out slow. Those $1-$5 surveys will add up over time, and doing them from more than one site at a time really increases your income. My first week using three of these survey sites, combined, I made over $60 dollars and never touched a credit card (including the offer completion ones), so they really do pay. Just go to my profile and you will find links to my favorites!
    PS: The survey panel thats hard to get onto is Pinecone Research because you have to find a flashing banner and click it to get to the sign up form, but if you can manage that, you get $5 per survey. Anyway try some of those links in my profile. They are free and easy to get started.
